Hello, my name is Jonathan Lewis, and I’d like to introduce you to my exciting world of Ministry and Magic!
In the fall of 1996, a young evangelist I worked with asked me a simple question “would you like to come and rap for Jesus Christ”? This stopped me dead in my tracks during a time in my life when I was living contrary to the will of God.
In April of 1997 after several months of pondering the aforementioned question and studying the Gideon’s New Testament Pocket Bible, I committed my life to Jesus Christ, and my life was never the same.
During the next few years of discipleship, God kept his promise, I toured the west coast through Arizona and California with the Christian Rap Ministry Soul Saving Hoodlums; Santo the Mad Saint and Johnny Banton, which consisted of Rap Performances, Bible Teachings, and Evangelism.
The Lord planted me at a wonderful church Calvary Chapel of Tucson, Pastor Robert Furrow, where I learned servanthood for ministry on the Usher teams, teaching Discipleship Classes, attending Bible College, and Teaching the Youth Ministry.
I’d like to introduce you to my ministry of preaching/teaching the gospel through magic. My sessions are 30-40 minutes customized to all group performances. They consist of sleight of hand, card tricks, and large prop effects all telling different stories relative to the times we live in today while opening a door to Jesus Christ.
